Pooja is a qualified patent agent registered with the Indian Patent Office and a qualified lawyer. She has extensive experience of more than 16 years in patent drafting and patent prosecution, particularly in the areas of food technology, pharmaceuticals, chemicals related consumer products, material processing, polymers and food processing. She is experienced in challenging and defending the validity of patents before the Indian Patent Office and working with the dispute resolution teams before various courts of India.
Pooja also supports clients with drafting and prosecuting patent applications and providing strategic advice to the clients to protect their intellectual property rights. She is responsible for analyzing patent documents, prior art search, patentability and invalidation searching. She leads the IPR Department of ORTIS with her vast knowledge in various techno legal aspects of patents, trademarks, copyrights and designs, and client handling skills.
Prior to joining ORTIS, Pooja was handling the patent practice in the UnitedIPR Group.
